O'Neill Training and Event Room Rules

 

  • The event including fundraisers must be free of charge to participants.

  • Rental fees are $250 per event.  Waivers are provided on occasion to address demonstrated need.

  • Alcoholic beverages and smoking in the O’Neill Training and Events Room is strictly forbidden. Rental privileges will be revoked for said violation.

  • The event must be congruous with Peer Seattle’s mission statement of cultivating powerful, healthy lives by providing peer emotional support and development services to the LGBTQ community and their allies embracing issues of mental health, chemical and behavioral addiction, and chronic illness.

  • Interested parties can request O'Neill Training and Events Room reservations at https://www.peerseattle.org/org. Use and access is granted when Peer Seattle receives and approves the electronic reservation request.

  • Reservations must include the name and contact information of the person in charge of the meeting to be approved by Peer Seattle.

  • O’Neill Training and Events Room can be scheduled up to ninety (90) days in advance.

  • The O'Neill Training and Events Room is available on a first-come, first basis between the hours of 9:00 AM and 9:00 PM PST seven days a week and every day of the year.

  • Please allow time for set up and clean up.  Tenants are responsible for leaving the O'Neill Training and Events Room clean and organized. All food and containers brought into the room must be taken out and disposed of properly.

  • Rental Agreement must be completed, approved, and signed prior to the event.

  • Payment must be made prior to or at the time of the event.

  • Cancellations must be made five (5) business days in advance of reservation. 

  • In the event of a "no show" or cancellation not made in the aforementioned time frame, payment for the reserved block of time will be due in full to Peer Seattle.

  • If you are using audio or visual equipment, allow time to become familiar with and test the equipment to ensure compatibility.  Initial instruction for set up and use of the equipment is provided. For the first time renters, we suggest scheduling an appointment to see space and to check equipment compatibility.

  • O'Neill Training and Events Room doors may not be propped open and advertisement or directional signage may not be displayed outside the room. However, the front desk staff will be happy to direct participants back to the room upon arrival.

  • Tenants causing damage to equipment, furniture, or the premises will be charged for repairs.

  • Peer Seattle management reserves the right to revoke privileges if the rules and regulations are violated. 

  • These rules are subject to change and may be modified without notice.
